Joy Lim’s 2009 Chinese Zodiac Forecast

I just can’t resist the urge to blog, even if my Smart Bro connection is really bad. That is because I was surprised that I got a lot of email (which I received and accessed thru my blackberry) about the 2009 Year of the Ox Forecast. People are requesting that I give a detailed forecast based on each of the 12 Chinese Zodiac signs.

I also got a number of inquiries asking how they can get in touch with Joy Lim. Apparently they have been calling up the number that I gave them but they find it hard to get a personal consultation with Joy. Hmmm…I find it harder to answer this particular query. Because Joy just arrived from the States and from what I know her schedule is always really tight. In fact, I only get to talk to her at the most ‘unholy’ hours of late evening and/or very early morning like 2AM, and mind she is just about to end her day. What is she doing? Consulting for people who need her feng shui expertise. But don’t worry she tries to make time for everybody. When I say she tries to make time for everybody I really mean she goes out of her way to accommodate people even if its in like ‘madaling araw’ already.

Anyway, for now I am sharing with you what she discussed with me.

Since we are talking about the year of the Ox let’s discuss Ox first.

1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997

Ox…

If you think this year is really good for you since it’s the Year of the Ox, you’re wrong. I also had that misconception before and since my Chinese Zodiac is Ox, I have started bugging Joy about what fate has in store for me in 2009.

If 2007 was really bad for most Ox people, 2008 proved to be a very good year for us. However, this year, according to Joy Lim, the #3 Quarrelsome Star is moving into our direction, which means will be facing more negative energies in terms of disagreements and spats with friends or even loved ones.

There are some practical ways of trying to counteract this #3 Quarrelsome Star, and that is we should start reinforcing our personal and professional relationships and enhance our interpersonal skills. WE MUST AVOID IGNORING OTHER PEOPLE’S POINT OF VIEW and getting too argumentative. According to Joy, we should focus more on what concerns us and refrain from ‘sticking our head out’ to things that really don’t concern us.

We should be on the look out for problems concerning legal matters. There is a possibility of a lawsuit. Most of all, we should be careful in taking our reputation because there is a possibility that we might get involved in scandals.

Rabbit…

I hate to be the bringer of bad news, but I’m afraid that this year is going to be bad for the rabbit, there’s a downturn for the rabbit this year. All the negativity is caused by the fact that the rabbit’s direction is afflicted by both the #7 Violence Star and the 3 Killings.

The 3 Killings is said to bring 3 kinds of tribulations that are all connected to relationships. It may appear in different form. So being conscious about the 3 Killings is a very good step to counteract these tribulations.

Meanwhile, the #7 Violence Star is said to cause burglary and makes a person more susceptible to losses, whether cause by theft or otherwise. So it will be nice to be more extra careful with everything especially in safe guarding your finances and other investments like your house.

However, you must remember, luck is not always present so this is a very good year for you to start saving up not only in wealth but also in good karma.

Like the Dragon, Lady Luck is on your side right now. You have the #9 Purple Star in your corner or direction, which means that money is easy for you this year. Horse…

This year is also a good year for you. If you have any interest in the literature any education this is a good time to pursue it.

However, the #4 Romance Star is also the Sexy (others refer it as the Sex) Star. Which means for a Horse who is in a relationship already this might prove to be a challenging year. You might be tempted to have extra marital affairs and/or your partner might cheat on you.

Monkey…

When it rains it pours. And luck is raining down on you. You have the #6 Heaven’s Luck Star, which is further enhanced by the #9 Magnify Star. Success and wealth is just around the corner and with little work it will be easy for you to attain it. But a monkey is also a big spender so it will be nice if one is able to be more budget conscious.

Rooster…

Unfortunately, Roosters has to take special care regarding their health. According to Joy, base on her calculations the #2 Illness Star flies in the your direction. Physical illness is very likely to crop up and this has a very big potential to be a serious illness.

For Roosters who drive, they also must take special precaution. There is also a very big chance that you might get into an accident if you are not careful.

Rat …

For people’s who has the lucky stars in their direction, the #9 Magnifying Star is a welcome star, however, for you the Rat, the much dreaded 5 Killings is in your direction and the #9 Magnifying Star, as the word connotes, magnifies this bad luck.

The 5 Killings is said to bring 5 kinds of misfortune. All Rats should take special caution this year. It is best to postpone any major plans. However, as I always say, what is the importance of knowing Feng Shui if you cannot counteract it.

Joy says that good work, faith in God (whether God is Allah, Buddha, or Jesus Christ), and Feng Shui all works hand in hand.
